Who She is.
Justine Rhind is a Consultant Speech and Language Therapist with over 25 years-experience. She is a Certified PROMPT clinician and Instructor, one of approximately 60 instructors globally and the only instructor in the UK.
Justine provides expert assessment and treatment for children of all ages experiencing communication difficulties.
Justine was inspired to become a speech therapist at a young age, when she realised that life without ‘chat’ would be much less enjoyable, and significantly harder. She also started to recognise that individuals who could not communicate well, were often deeply mis-understood, not simply because they were unintelligible or had less access to words, but in a much deeper way. Responding to children with this area of need was never optional, and has always been her focus.
Having received her honours degree from University College London in 1994, Justine has worked in both the UK and Australia, and across many different clinical and educational settings. Throughout her practice she has utilised many different intervention tools, and in 2005, her search for improved therapeutic solutions lead her to PROMPT. She took her initial level 1 PROMPT Technique training in Queensland Australia, and has pursued ongoing, advanced training in this area ever since. In 2017 she qualified as PROMPT Instructor and now teaches and mentors Speech and Language Therapist’s in the UK and internationally, alongside her clinical work.

Justine is passionate about seeing your child’s communication skills grow to the best of their capacity. She will work creatively to design therapy that unlocks your child’s communicative potential.
